Started another sketch. I figured that since I'm drawing Nidaime, I might as well draw out all the other Hokages. After all, they're some of my favourite characters in the series. I have a soft spot for minor characters.
Anyway, basically the first stages of the first few minutes of my sketch process.
1. A basic sketch of what I want. This typically
looks more animated than the final product :(
2. I lower my brush opacity and give myself an idea
of where I want shadows. Then I lower my
opacity to about 10% and shade in the face
a little.
3. I start blending in the shadows into the basic skin
shade. I don't use the smudge tool when I sketch.
I usually toy around with the default round
brushes to get the right effects, and alternate
between using black and white on the face.
More later... I'm gonna go back to working on the other things I have to.
